Our consulting firm caters to diverse clients; therefore, providing an average time metric for filling job positions would be misleading. This is because each client's roles may vary significantly from one another, and we cannot guarantee any specific timeframe. Although our recruiters utilize top-notch practices and tools, several factors can influence the time it takes to fill a position. These factors may include the job role, market competitiveness, compensation, benefits package, culture, location, and responsiveness.
For us to succeed, timely and effective communication between our recruiters and your hiring managers is crucial. Therefore, we ensure that both parties are aligned in their communication expectations throughout the recruitment process. We will inform you of our weekly progress during our engagement so you can clearly understand where things stand.
When it comes to retained searches, we will use only our tools. However, we will incorporate your internal tools for RPO services if you have any. Along with our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), we primarily use LinkedIn Recruiter, CareerBuilder, and Indeed Resume Search. We may suggest or use a specialized platform if necessary for specific roles.
The Launch: Needs Analysis & Client Requirements
We will take the time to fully understand your needs and preferences for the position, gain insight into the company culture and future growth plans, and develop a clear understanding of the ideal candidate profile. Next, we will analyze the requirements, compare the salary to market standards (in the case of a retained search), provide feedback, and create a position overview for your review.
The Strategy: Research & Targeting
After aligning objectives, we analyze the market, develop a customized strategy, and identify target sources for candidates. We will use industry-leading tools, resources, and established networks to engage with candidates.
The Search: Identification & Evaluation
Going to market to source, identify, and qualify potential candidates. We will conduct phone and email screens to determine candidates' interest. From there, we hold our first round of KBC HR interviews to assess the depth of expertise, alignment of career goals, and personal characteristics relative to the position objectives and organizational culture. KBC HR uses certified personality assessments such as Myers-Briggs should you wish to use an optional tool to determine the job and culture fit.
The Interviews: Presentation of Top Candidates
The final, qualified candidates will be presented to your hiring team for in-person interviews. KBC HR will handle scheduling and coordination.
The Offer: Reference Checks & Negotiation
Once we have completed comprehensive reference and background checks, we will contact you to express our interest and extend a job offer to the selected candidate. Your designated consultant will negotiate and finalize the offer, and we will then coordinate with all parties involved to ensure a seamless onboarding process.
